Why we exist

Compassion needs a path to action.

A safer life can begin with one caring intervention at the right moment.

Rosie’s Path grew from hands-on charitable work: protecting cats and dogs left without care, standing beside children who lack opportunity, and helping women turn their abilities into greater independence.

01 · Animal rescue

A rescue is a journey—not a single moment.

We rescue abandoned cats and dogs and stay involved until they are safe and settled. That means arranging veterinary care, preparing passports and travel documents, finding trusted foster or adoptive homes, and locating flight volunteers who can accompany them.

Our responsibility does not end when an animal travels. We follow up with foster parents and adopters to make sure each cat or dog is safe, healthy, and well cared for.

Daily feeding and kitten care

We stretch bulk pet food with homemade chicken meals prepared with pasta, eggs, and olive oil. Abandoned newborn kittens require special formula and feeding bottles; after they are weaned, kittens need wet kitten food.

02 · Children & schools

We respond to what children actually need.

Every school and every child faces different challenges. Sometimes the need is books. Sometimes it is new boots and warm coats. Sometimes the need is larger—and cannot wait.

Our current priority is rebuilding a dilapidated four-stall bathroom at an elementary school. Girls and boys currently share the same inadequate facility. We were unable to raise local funds during the summer, and completing the work before cold weather arrives is now urgent.

03 · Women & work

Opportunity should lead to independence.

Hiring and training disadvantaged women to help make products for our businesses is an important part of our business model. The goal is not temporary assistance, but useful skills, meaningful work, confidence, and a path toward greater financial independence.

When we partner with suppliers, we stay closely involved. We look for workplaces that are genuinely supportive of women and their families and encourage responsible, family-friendly employment practices.
